of radiation processing, particularly with reference to safety
and plant operation.
To provide a body
of experts capable of assisting in the development, acceptance
and implementation of National and International Standards
and Codes of Practice relating to radiation processing.
To promote a wide
appreciation of radiation processing technologies, particularly
via dissemination of information and education.
To develop an international
dimension via active liaison with other interested organisations.
To encourage participation
by representatives from all branches of the Electron Beam
and Gamma processing industries, and by representatives from
disciplines directly associated with these activities.
To encourage participation
by organisations/institutions/individuals particularly concerned
with dosimetry, radiation chemistry or radiation biology. |
