The Microbiology
Group consists of representatives from suppliers and users
of radiation services and from regulatory bodies.

on Dosimetry

The Dosimetry
Group provides a focal point for the discussion of dosimetry
and related issues of concern to Members: The group regularly
runs dosimetry training courses and also aims to assist
Members in resolving specific dosimetry problems.

on Plant Operation & Safety

Known as the
Plant Operators Group, it brings together people who,
by their daily practical experience of running irradiators,
share their knowledge to the benefit of the whole group.

Working Group on Modelling Chair: Dr Chris Pyne - REVISS Services
|
The Modelling Group's principle objective is to further the use of modelling techniques within the irradiation industry, with particular focus on Europe. Regular meetings are held to discuss and progress projects in order to lower perceived barriers of entry into modelling
|
Working Group on Food Irradiation Chair: Dr Cathie Deeley - REVISS Services
|
The Food Irradiation Group consists of members from mainland Europe and the UK, working to promote harmonised good practice in the irradiation of food products. Members meet to develop feedback to their national standards bodies on new international standards on food irradiation.

Panel maintains active working links with related organisations
with the aim of developing common positions on matters of
mutual interest. These include:
