| Dr. Cathie Deeley Cathie Deeley joined the radiation processing industry in 1999. With expertise in the design and specification of optical spectrophotometers she took an immediate interest in dosimetry and quickly became involved in Panel activities, acting in the role of Website Manager since 2000 and Deputy Chair from 2002 – 2005. In 2008 she was appointed as Deputy Chair of the Programme Committee for the 15th International Meeting on Radiation Processing that took place in London, England.

| Dr. Mario Bernkopf Mario Bernkopf worked in the pharmaceutical industry in various countries before joining Willy Ruesch (Teleflex) in 1999 as manager of the gamma irradiation plant. With two colleagues he founded BBF Sterilisationsservice in an MBO scheme, combining the Ruesch gamma irradiation plant and the microbiological laboratory.

| Dr. Bart Croonenborghs
After obtaining his PhD in nuclear and solid state physics Bart Croonenborghs joined the radiation processing industry in 2005 as technical manager for all irradiation activities at Sterigenics in the EMEAA region. He became a Panel member in 2006 and since 2010 he represents Belgium in working group 2 of ISO technical committee 198, which has as a goal the standardization of processes for the sterilization of health care products using ionising radiation.

| Dr. Cathie Deeley Cathie Deeley has championed the development of food irradiation in Europe since joining REVISS in 1999. The Panel Working Group on Food Irradiation, has been adopted by the UK National Standards Body (BSI) as their expert panel for UK representation to ISO.
