Physicist and engineer, Damien has 30 years of successful experience in high tech industries where he used his strong scientific background and leadership skills to address complex technical challenges. Among other things, he set up and lead several scientific collaborations with international partners.

At IBA industrial for more than 5 years, he uses his experience in management and his expertise in radiation physics to lead IBA strategic programs in radiation processing.

Prior to joining IBA Industrial, Damien worked 25 years for the proton therapy business where he participated in the development and installation of the IBA proton therapy solution, managed R&D projects, managed teams and finally endorsed the role of research director.

Damien is author of 54 scientific publications in the field of proton therapy, beam delivery systems, beam diagnostics, gamma detection, in-vivo dosimetry, dosimetry of pulsed beams, proton radiography and radiation processing.
